Claire and Scott can tell their grandchildren that they married on the weekend that every other event was cancelled due to the weather.
We were incredibly lucky that we all kept our feet firmly on the ground and nothing blew away at Greenway Farm.
Bridal preparations were at the lovely Bush Farm in Spaxton, followed by the ceremony and reception at Greenway Farm.
Scott and his boys were at Greenway Farm with Roger.
Claire rode with her father and her daughter in the vintage Austin Six supplied by Age of Elegance cars to the ceremony.
Little Ruby fell fast asleep and I love this shot of her sparked out in the back of the car.
The ceremony room was full to busting with the couple’s friends and families, luckily there was a balcony so we were still able to shoot from multiple angles. The little cutie peeking out from the doorway was practising his best flirting skills.
After a drink and mingle break we took our gorgeous bride and groom out for some photos in an effort to beat the weather. It was extremely windy but it didn’t make any difference to their happiness.
We also had a bit of fun with the bridal party.
After the fabulous hog roast it was time for the speeches. Everyone did extremely well. We always find we learn a lot about our couple during the speeches that we didn’t know, as it all comes out.
The early evening light was just gorgeous, and we made use of it with photos of couples, families and of course these gorgeous ladies.
We also took the couple out for some golden hour wedding photographs. The light was just perfect.
And then all too quickly it was time for the first dance and the evening party to kick off. Our couples are always amazed at how fast the day goes when you get married compared to when you’re a guest at a wedding. It’s why, as seasoned wedding photographers, we advise you to take those few minutes to be with each other and take it all in.
