Jill & Ian at Clearwell Castle

Sheltering in the bandstand

Jill and Ian met the way all good couples meet nowadays, online! After a long courtship, Ian eventually persuaded Jill to move in with him, and once “all his ducks were in a row”, he proposed.

That brings us right up to date, and Friday’s wedding at the stunning Clearwell Castle.

Jill had chosen well in getting 50s style dresses for herself and her best friend/right hand woman Julie. With all good 50s dresses, the shoes are a focus, and Jill did not disappoint with spectacular leopard print heels, sadly not in my size!

Time for the ceremony. Ian couldn’t help getting emotional seeing Jill walk down the ailse on the arm of her son, to become his wife.

So in love

The couple invited a lot of their friends to their special day.

Jill wasn’t the only one on the Leopard Print bandwagon.

Leopards for miles

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side. It rained, and rained. Jill and Ian gamely ventured outside under our trusty umbrella.

It was such a lovely day, despite the weather. We left them all partying hard.

A big thank you to Lisa and all her staff for being wonderful.
