Amy & Justin’s wedding at Manor by the Lake

Amy & Justin tied the knot after 9 years together. The gorgeous Manor by the Lake was the stunning venue for their big day.

Bridal make up
Getting Glam

The talented Leah Toomey was in charge of getting Amy glammed. She did a fantastic job at making Amy look the best version of herself. Amy’s two bridesmaids, and her mum, were also on hand.

Groom prep
Getting suited and booted

Justin also got ready at Manor by the Lake. It;s really nice for both the bride and the groom to see the prep photographs afterwards. The nerves are usually visible to only those that love you the best.

Amy chose a dress that suited her perfectly. It was a Mark Lesley creation and it fitted like a glove. Once we had her dressed, I took the opportunity to sneak in some quick Bridal Portraits.

It was all too much for Amy’s mum Chris once she saw her baby girl. I love capturing reactions like this. A photograph tells a thousand words, this one certainly speaks volumes.

I love a reflection

I’m a sucker for a good reflection.

I also had the chance to photograph Amy’s father’s first reaction to his daughter. These moments are so special and they can now be treasured forever.

Selfie Fun

Ceremony time: The main room in the Manor is just stunning, with heavily carved wood and feature ceilings.

It all went without a hitch, and our gorgeous couple are now husband and wife legally.

University Reunion

It’s lovely to be able to have all your friends join you to celebrate your big day. These guys had a full on reunion which I’m sure was great fun.

Thankfully it was dry on Saturday, although quite chilly. We are cruel and mean and dragged the whole bridal party out for wedding photographs (only for a few minutes, we are not that bad).

In Love

The grounds at Manor by the Lake give us many options for shooting the couple’s portraits. So much so, that we have to reign ourselves in and get as many photos done in our short timescale. We could have gone on for hours, but it’s not our day, and we wanted Amy and Justin to be able to mingle and enjoy their guests.

Justin took his direction of a Hollywood worthy kiss very seriously!

We chose this image for the signing frame, so it was the first wedding photograph the couple saw.

Who started the band?

We love having a bit of fun. I think bridesmaid Laura was loving the guitar!

The Speeches
The Speeches

Speeches were before dinner so that those having to make one could relax and enjoy their meals.

The night shot

The Manor was all lit up at night so we had a little bit of a play in the dark. We love shooting night photography. If your wedding falls in the months where we have an early night, be warned!

In the Frame
In the Frame

We got the frame out to try to involve some of the evening guests in the wedding photographs. Can you spot yourself? There are plenty more where these came from.

Dry Ice Surprise

This photo cracks me up. The Dry Ice supplied by http://www.oxygendiscos.co.uk tried to engulf poor Amy and Justin at one point.

We had such a wonderful day photographing the wedding of Amy and Justin. We are incredibly lucky to do what we do, and we love and appreciate every minute of it.
